How
to Protect Your Dog Poisoned Dog Food
A
number of pet foods recalls and a large number of cruel deaths
of animals have scared pet owners. They are much agitated
over their pets accidentally taking in poisoned dog food.
Vets have given a few signs which reveal dog food poisoning.
They are vomiting, bloody stools, loss of appetite and energy
and excessive thirst. But unfortunately, these signs are seen
only after a number of days from the intake of poisoned dog
food.
Any suspicion that the dog has consumed poisoned dog food
should be brought to the notice of the vet by bringing over
the leftovers for examination. If the dog is really poisoned,
it may be reported to the police who will prosecute those
responsible for poisoning the dog food. This evidence is quite
enough. If the dog has symptoms of food poisoning after eating
recalled dog food or given by a stronger, or found on a walk,
a vet should be consulted immediately before it is too late.
