Is
it Not Wise to Save on Toys for Your Dog
Dogs
always love to eat, sleep and of course play a lot at every
available opportunity and it will be difficult to see even
a single dog that may not be interested in playing. And hence
in order to keep your dog healthy and the same time to derive
pleasure by seeing your dog playing, you must provide a good
number of toys for your dog.
However,
in one corner of your mind you may carry a small apprehension
with regard to the money involved in providing toys for your
dog. When it comes to providing playful toys for your dog,
it doesnt necessarily mean that you should make provisions
only for expensive toys but you must remember that your dog
doesnt see for the price tag in any of its toys. Further,
your dog, as it plays with a toy, will tend to chew it up
and hence even if you can afford to go for costly toys, it
will turn out to be a waste in just few hours of play.
Avoid
Wasting Money on Toys for Your Dog
The
trick involved here is in providing good and playful toys
for your dog and at the same time spending less on them. As
said earlier, your dog doesnt know the real cost value
of any of its toy and hence always look for inexpensive toys
that may amuse your dog most.
For
instance, instead of going for an exotic mouse toy from a
pet store, you can stuff one of your worn-out socks with some
cotton and use it as a toy for your dog to throw and bite
on. If you happen to seen few of Chihuahua breed dogs, you
can find them playing with the same old rag for years together
and this is a classic example that dogs doesnt really
see the real worth of any toy.
Few
great tips are provided below to make your idea of providing
useful toys relatively cheap:
1.
A good tennis ball is relatively cheap and can serve the purpose
of a playful toy to your dog. Further, the tennis ball also
withstands your dogs harsh biting and you can also see
your dog enjoying its play with the tennis ball for quite
a long time without any need for replacement.
2.
Preserve your old socks, as they can prove very handy when
it comes to toys for your dogs. Just stuff your socks with
any material, right from waste paper to old clothes or even
with other old socks, and after rolling up it into a ball
you can give it to your dog and see him playing it with great
enthusiasm.
3.
There is one very great toy that lies just in front of you
and many of the dog owners fail to recognize it. Yes, it is
nothing but a simple small stick that is capable of providing
loads of fun to your dog. Choose few round shaped smaller
length hard sticks and once you give it to your dog you can
see your dog carrying it, chewing it and playing with it all
the time and you would have saved a good amount of money by
this time.
