How to Train your Dog to Act and Attack on Command

At the outset you must understand that training your dog to attack is only for the sake of protection and it should never be considered as a means to inflict injury to people. The very purpose of attack dog training is to make your dog act on your command in the event of any envisaged mishap or danger. Though many dogs are not aggressive, you can still make your dog get trained on attacking on your command so that you can get yourself and your property protected.

There are many professionals and trainers with varied professional knowledge on attack dog training and as said earlier you must basically construe the training only for the purpose of protection alone for ethical reasons. Once you get your dog trained you can rest assured to get yourself and your property protected from the prying eyes, but to get your dog trained you should know how to select the right kind of trainer who is professionally competent, experienced and trustworthy.

There are also few agencies or centers that exclusively undertake attack dog training and the only disadvantage with such centers is that your dog will be treated little harsh so as to make it obey the commands. And when it comes to he breeds, there are certain breeds that are more amenable to attack training and you can make your mind to choose one of them in case your need for a dog is for protection.

Patience and the Skill are the Keys in Attack Dog Training

As said earlier, there are few breeds such as Rottweilers or the Sheep Dog, Dobermans and German Shepherds that make fine attack dogs and on the other hand you can also depend on other breeds provided you train them professionally and based on the temperament of the selected dog. It is a normal practice to start attack training for your dog when it is just one year old and the real attack dog training that may get extended to two weeks will commence only after imparting your dog with an initial obedience training. Though it is possible to impart both the types of training in one go it is always preferable to go in a slow pace so as to make your dog more obedient and responsive to your commands.

Basically the attack dog training is not to alter your dog’s behaviour or mental attitude and hence your dog after attack training will continue to be friendly to children, but you should note not to leave your attack trained dog alone unleashed. Further you should never leave your attack-trained dog in the midst of strangers without any one of your family members to avoid the risk of misbehavior.

You must bear in your mind that attack training your dog will not make your dog more aggressive, but it will help you to get protected on command and you need to shell out an amount, as attack dog training doesn’t come free. When you want to put your security in the first place, then the amount charged by dog experts may not seem to be a matter of concern at all and you can get you dog attack trained and lead a peaceful secured life.
